Dwayne Bravo’s Three-Wicket Burst Restricts England Champions

Earlier, Sheldon Cottrell and Fidel Edwards dismissed openers Jason Roy and Dawid Malan cheaply. England Champions reached 47/2 at the end of the Powerplay, with Moeen Ali looking in good touch.

However, Dwayne Bravo turned the game with three wickets in quick succession. At one stage, he had figures of 3/3, leaving England Champions struggling at 61/5. Moeen then rebuilt the innings alongside Owais Shah, adding 54 runs for the sixth wicket. Moeen scored 60 off 39 balls before departing in the 15th over, while Owais remained unbeaten on 38 off 28 deliveries. Owais helped England Champions finish with 159/7 in their 20 overs, but the total proved insufficient against a dominant West Indies batting performance.
