Gujarat Titans (GT) may make some changes before the IPL 2027 auction. The team had a good IPL 2026 season, but some players did not get many chances or could not perform well.
GT may release some of these players and use the auction to build a stronger squad.
1. Shahrukh Khan
Shahrukh Khan could be released by Gujarat Titans. He played nine matches in IPL 2026 and scored only 43 runs.
GT may look for another Indian batter who can score runs quickly in the middle and lower order.
2. Glenn Phillips
Glenn Phillips is another player who could be released. He played six matches and scored 67 runs.
GT have several overseas players, so they could use his overseas slot for another player.
3. Nishant Sindhu
Nishant Sindhu played eight matches in IPL 2026. He scored 63 runs but did not bowl.
GT may want an Indian all-rounder who can contribute with both bat and ball.
4. Manav Suthar
Manav Suthar played four matches in IPL 2026 and took two wickets.
GT already have good spin options. The team could therefore decide to bring in another spinner or a fast bowler.
5. Ishant Sharma
Ishant Sharma did not play a match for GT in IPL 2026.
He is an experienced bowler, but GT may decide to give his squad spot to a younger player before the IPL 2027 season.
