Finn Allen made it an unforgettable night with his incredible maiden century in IPL for Kolkata Knight Riders against Delhi Capitals. The opener for KKR started aggressively from ball one and remained unbeaten with a score of 100 runs off only 47 balls. The aggressive batting from Allen, who hit plenty of sixes and boundaries, enabled KKR to win easily and stay alive in the playoff race. Fans in the ground witnessed the entire innings with excitement and enjoyed Allen’s match-winning performance with six.
KKR’s bowlers have played a vital role in keeping Delhi batsmen under pressure. Both Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy were cleverly economical with the ball and restricted the opposition in the middle overs. Heinrich Klaasen and Abhishek Sharma continue to be the leading run-scorers at the top of the Orange Cap race. As far as the Purple Cap race is concerned, both Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Anshul Kamboj are tied for the lead position with 17 wickets each.
