The clip provides a glimpse into the film’s advanced performance-capture gear and the high-end VFX being used for the film.Mandanna is said to have a crucial role in ‘Raaka’. According to reports, the actress will play a guide and protector to Deepika Padukone’s character, whose fight for survival forms an important part of the story. Padukone is reportedly playing a pregnant woman in the Puranic Vedic era, while Janhvi Kapoor is said to portray a tribal queen.

Mandanna’s shooting schedule for the film was reportedly delayed by around 45 days following a hip injury sustained during rehearsals. The delay pushed the production schedule towards September, with the actor now expected to return to shoot some action scenes.
